This year St. Elizabeth of Hungary church held its annual Polonia Pilgrimage on Saturday September 5th. It was a drizzly day with a heavy fog in the valley. His Grace Archbishop Richard Gagnon came from Winnipeg to celebrate mass along with St. Elizabeth’s pastor Rev Fr. James Ahaneku and Father Mark Filips from Neepawa. A bus from Holy Ghost parish in Winnipeg was in attendance – we are thankful they come every year – and processed around the grotto and into the church. The service was held inside the church due to the inclement weather. It was a beautiful mass there were readings in english and polish, with His Grace giving the homily.

After mass there was a supper held in the hall at which around 140 people attended.
